Please don’t shoot me!

First of all, I apologize for putting pictures of myself on here two days in a row. I promise it will never happen again.

But let me just tell you about a little slice of my day. For this vocal thing (see yesterday’s post), I’ve been told I had to get “headshots.” This was the last task I had to complete before I can send my demo off to the powers that be. And I’ve been pretty much dreading it BECAUSE Lisa Cash is not the most photogenic girl in the world. Can I get an amen? In fact, in all but 3 of over 50 shots taken today, I was either A) way too toothy B) doublechinning it C) making a facial expression so similar to my mother that it totally freaked me out (Mom, that’s not an insult! Love you!) or D) just plain weird-looking. I make lots and lots of weird faces, as anyone who loves me knows well. Even when I’m trying to make pretty photo faces, evidently, I still make weird faces. Oh, well. I got two decent photos out of this traumatic photo shoot, my favorites below. I love the laughing one the most because it reflects what a complete DORK I felt like doing this today. 🙂lisa-laughing.jpg

About cashclan

Lisa is a grateful, born-again follower of Jesus Christ who has spent her adult life on the Gospel in several global contexts. She is the wife of one wonderful, jungle-gym of a man, who is to her the single most ravishing piece of flesh on planet earth (stolen good-heartedly from Christine Caine). She is a dedicated home educator to their four beautiful children, ages 6 to 12, whom she would be happy to gush over any time. She is an avid reader and a storyteller, an aspiring writer, a missionary to the nations and a singer of His praises, a loyal friend, an obsessive-compulsive Googler, and comedienne extraordinaire on her best days. She would also like to think that she is a loyal and loving, truth-telling friend.
