Japan is Falling

One of a thousand reasons we don’t think we could ever live anywhere else again–AUTUMN. Seriously, I’ve never seen seasons (okay, except winter in Colorado) like they are here. Fall is my favorite, Cherry Blossoms in April a very close 2nd, only because they come and go so fast. Fall sticks around for a bit around here. TAKE A LOOK!!! Sometimes, the colors make me stop and absolutely GASP!!!

About cashclan

Lisa is a grateful, born-again follower of Jesus Christ who has spent her adult life on the Gospel in several global contexts. She is the wife of one wonderful, jungle-gym of a man, who is to her the single most ravishing piece of flesh on planet earth (stolen good-heartedly from Christine Caine). She is a dedicated home educator to their four beautiful children, ages 6 to 12, whom she would be happy to gush over any time. She is an avid reader and a storyteller, an aspiring writer, a missionary to the nations and a singer of His praises, a loyal friend, an obsessive-compulsive Googler, and comedienne extraordinaire on her best days. She would also like to think that she is a loyal and loving, truth-telling friend.

Gorgeous! Where were those pictures taken??

Speaking of trees, we just had the worst ice storm in the history of Oklahoma. 225,000+ homes are without power (including ours, Jimmy’s, Willy’s, Micky’s, Grandma Helen, Aunt Stacy, Grandma Shirley, Grandpa Valentine) and everyone else practically in this town. The trees have taken the worst of it. Just about every tree is either broken or split or branches drooping to the ground. It looks like a tornado hit. We have been named a federal disaster area. We stayed at Kendra’s last night (the only relative with electric) and have moved our camper into their driveway to plug into their electric for tonight and probably the rest of the week. Teri is staying with us too, but Jimmy is braving it at home with the dogs and his books.
