Violeta is gone! She left the day after my return from the States. And Keith is super-busy between his job and his schoolwork this semester. So I’ve got a little bit on my plate over here, between the kids, their school (lots of mommy duties at Japanese school!), the house, finances, ministry, teaching English, and my precious blog, of course.
In fact, I’ve been falling asleep almost every night about 8pm, immediately after storytime, in the midst of my handsome, deep-voiced husband’s prayers over our children. I’ve got to get over this jetlag and find my rhythm again. I did this before Violeta got here two years ago–surely I can do it again! Of course I can; the Lord keeps reminding me that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!” It’s just that I have to first and foremost carve out the time for Him to strengthen me daily, you know what I’m saying? Pray for us over here!
I really will blog about the whole Nashville Star experience. It was a BLAST, as was getting to spend some much-needed time with my friends and family in Tulsa. I’ll blog about it all, just as soon as I get my groove back.
And if you happen to see my groove (maybe I left it in Oklahoma or Virginia?), could you Priority Mail it to me?
You of all people, Lisa, will be up and running in no time. Super Mom!! 🙂
You need to read “Stepping Heavenward.” It’s a hard read, but oh-so-applicable to finding your groove.
